Looking for an excuse to head Downtown? How about live music under the stars, for free? Starting August 21, local bands will perform during the Third Friday Free Concert in the Park series at the Downtown Civic Space near the ASU campus. Bring a blanket and a picnic and groove to hometown music from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The featured bands will be announced two weeks prior to each event; for more information, visit downtownphoenixjournal.com.
