Celebrate Independents Week by having a sandwich and coffee with Mayor Phil Gordon, plus shopping (and saving) locally.
Kick off the 7th annual Independents Week, which celebrates small local businesses, with “Lunch Local” at Maizie’s Café in central Phoenix on Wednesday, July 1, from 11:30 to 12:30. Mayor Gordon will be there, and the café will be serving up special Phoenix Phil-ly sandwiches in his honor.
On Thursday, July 2, set your alarm early and head Downtown for the 3rd annual Coffee Crawl. Join Mayor Gordon and other locavores as they caffeinate at Fair Trade Cafe, Copper Star Coffee, Lola Coffee and Lux Coffee Bar from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
